Hi, I’m Evan. I’m an independent school graduate (Trinity-Pawling School, Class of 2012) who never really left the independent school world. After graduating, I found myself drawn to the tech side of education, and I’ve now spent nearly a decade working in IT and academic operations at independent schools.
During that time, I’ve supported just about every corner of campus life — teachers trying to troubleshoot mid-class, counselors preparing for meetings, registrars juggling schedules, and students who just need things to work. I’ve always loved being in environments where technology directly helps people do their jobs better, and I’ve learned how much impact small improvements can make in a school day.
A big part of my work has focused on the systems schools rely on every day, especially Veracross. After years of watching staff spend countless clicks and minutes just trying to get to the information they needed, I started building tools to make that process faster and less frustrating. Vera grew out of that experience — a simple idea to help educators and administrators get where they need to go with less hassle.
I’m passionate about creating tools that feel intuitive, save people time, and fit naturally into the way schools already work. Independent schools are tight-knit, busy communities, and my goal is always to build technology that supports that rhythm rather than disrupting it.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me tinkering with something new, exploring ways to streamline daily workflows, or just enjoying time with my family and my golden retriever, Laddu.
Thanks for being here — I’m glad to share what I’ve built with the community that shaped me.
